SelectorGadget will help us find the minimal css selector for the element on the webpage that we want to scrape. Installing the programmes is pretty straight forwards but start with R then afterwards install RStudio. This is a very basic series of tutorials and is unashamedly aimed at the total beginner and will include the following elements. Although the data we will collect is not that insightful, my hope is that by showing the process it will help people learn how easy it is to get started in their hunt for data.
